Nací
en Viedma, capital de la provincia de Rio Negro, Argentina.
A los 17 años, luego de haber realizado desde pequeña
talleres de artes plásticas en el Centro Cultural de Viedma
y habiendo terminado la escuela secundaria, decidi continuar
mis estudios en la escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano
Pueyrredon de Buenos Aires, donde cursé la especialización
en pintura y de la cual egresé en el 1993. Durante estos
años realicé diversos seminarios y talleres de
dibujo, pintura y grabado. Entre ellos con los artístas
plásticos argentinos Marcia Schvartz, Felipe Noé
y Oscar Smoje. En 1995 me mudé a Florencia, Italia, donde
con una beca, frecuenté la Scuola Internazionale di Specialisazione
per le Arte Grafiche Il Bisonte.
Durante mis diez años de estadía en Italia, estudié
a los grandes maestros de la pintura y comencé a tener
contacto con el mundo del restauro y la decoración. A
ambos, sin abandonar mi búsqueda pictórica personal,
me he dedicado en los últimos años, desarrollando
diferentes trabajos particulares. |

| I was born in Viedma, capital of the province
of Rio Negro, on the northern border of Patagonia, Argentina.
At the age of 17, after finishing highschool, I decided (inspired
by the artistic experiences and workshops at the Cultural Centre
of Viedma) to enrol at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes
Prilidiano Pueyrredon in Buenos Aires where I specialized
in painting. I finished this school in 1993. During these years
I attended several workshops on drawing, painting and etching
with artists such as Marcia Schvartz, Felipe Noé and Oscar
Smoje. In 1995 I moved to Florence, Italy, since a scholarship
gave me the opportunity to study at the Scuola Internazionale
di Specialisazione per le Arte Grafiche Il Bisonte. During
the last ten years in Italy I studied the famous painters and
I came into contact with the world of restoration and decoration.
Without abandoning my personal artwork, the last years I've succesfully
completed several restoration and decoration projects. |
